It’s wicked easy to do man. Click the link he’s given, scroll down to the list of host sites and look for one titled Mediafire (my personal favorite hosting site). Click it and wait to be redirected to Mediafire’s site. There you will see the mod manager “Download Here” button. Click it. Be amazed at the functionality. Lrn 2 internet a bit better.
First time I’ve ever used “Mirror creator” and I figured it out no sweat. Not rocket science guys.

I think there is something wrong with this. Everything seems to work until I try to craft something from the mod. Like take Mo’ Creatures, I can see horses, bunnies, birds, etc… But can’t craft a Horse Saddle, Hay Bale, or Sugar Lumps. I’m getting the correct recipe, but it’s not working.
At first I thought it was just Mo’s Creatures, then I made another mod compatible, Minecraft Advanced Mod. Tried crafting the portable workbench to no avail. Am I not doing something right or is it a bug you haven’t figured out yet?

This sounds like it might be nice, if it installed Mo’creatures like it is supposed to do. Perhaps it is the unavailability of the 11.3 version you tout here but don’t let us have. I wish we could find out.
So far, this application has done nothing good for me. Back to the old fashioned way, I suppose.

I CANNOT get this to load on my MAC. Everytime I hit the download from Mediafire I tell it to open with the default (jar launcher) and it waits a few seconds and then pops up and says that it cannot launch and I should check my console. Soooo…..what am I doing wrong? I so want to put the creatures mod!

Here it is. If this mod doesnt work for you, Goto *JAVA.Com*
Under the Download button there is a link labled “Do I have Java?”. Click it.
10-60 seconds later the sight will verify your Java edition. if you are out to date. update it. This will fix 90% of the issues people are having with installing the mod.

Hey it didnt work on me nor my dads mac so whats up.
The jar launcher got an error.
If this is some problem with the new version or something could you please fix it because i really would like to get mo critters and installing as is is too dang complicated, especially on a mac.

Yeah it seems like this version is just a peice of crap. Now im gonna have to pay hundreds of dollars on a new computer thanks to this. Unless you can somehow get it fixed or offer the old vesion as an alternative.

When I download the file on google chrome and I go into win rar it has 2 folders, a META Inf and another with a bunch of file classes but there is no application to run. Can someone give me a link to the mirror creator, when I click the download it does not redirect on Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. It brings up the win rar file “open or save” options for Internet explorer, and the win rar file open for Google Chrome, please give me a link to the MirrorCreator so I may download this.

Okay so I downloaded it I went to javaw.exe and when I try to run it it says “Cannot find the main class (file directory) Program will exit.” What is this and how do I fix it? Yes my java is fully up to date.

Hi I downloaded this and followed you video guide step by step but can get it to work.
I’ve tried manually also but I’m not 100% if I did it right or no other then where to put .class files. 😦
I had the mod of the just unicorns before to work but it didn’t work after an update but I’m trying the newest version of mo creatures now and I have a clean minecraft thing. (I uninstalled minecraft and reinstalled to make sure it wasn’t that) I have windows 7.

I loaded up minecolony and when I went to play minecraft I couldn’t make any of the modded items. I opened up modmanager and it is stuck at Attempting to load mod number: 0…

I have the same problem as cheese.
But first things first: Until now, everything worked fine and your mod manager was (and will be, as soon as it is working again) one of the most helpful things ever!
So thanks for your hard work^^
My problem is that as soon as I try to open up the modmanager after modding the game and then closing modmanager, modmanager tells me “Attempting to load mod number: 2…” which is GuiAPI as far as I remember the order of the mods. the other two mods are ModLoader and AudioMod.
It would be great if you could come up with a solution. 🙂

Short addition: It does not depend on which mod modmanager trys to load. It just wont load the last mod on the list.

Found the fix! Hope you have a backup of the original Minecraft JAR file in bin… delete the modded JAR file and replace it with an unmodded one
Install ModLoader at http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?t=80246
Follow instructions for whatever OS you have
Reinstall your mods (I did it manually, don’t know if it doesn’t work with ModManager)

This application doesn’t work at all. I tried installing both (at different times) Airships for 1.3 beta and DrZhark’s Mo’ Creatures 2.8. While it didn’t blackscreen, the mods weren’t there in the game. No airships, no extra creatures.

Iv’e downloaded the mod loader just fine but when i try to run it it says “this folder was downloaded of of the internet, do you wish to open?” i click continue and after a few seconds it

you should install ‘single player commands’ with tfc mod manager and then launch minecraft. then press ‘t’ and type in ‘spawn list’ if you find the word ‘horse’ in there. there are horses. you just haven’t been so lucky
